Survivor Cagayan week 6 recap poem (4/2/14)

Previously in this game Lindsey quit.
Trish bothered her and she couldn’t handle it.
Then with fear of a turncoat in the case of a merge,
Jeremiah was kept but Alexis was purged.

After tribal, Aparri was a solid 6
as they pondered possible post-merge vote picks.
They could control the game, but Kass isn’t sure
if these plans will work out without some sort of stir.

Sarah and Kass talk alone on the beach.
They must stay tight lipped to avoid Solana’s reach.
Kass is honest with Sarah that she worries about
a flip from Sarah or Jeremiah - her only doubts.

Now Sarah’s not happy. She’s being accused
of not being trustworthy. Almost verbal abuse.
Sarah says that not trusting would be this team’s demise.
So they shake hands and agree not to cut ties.

At Solana the tree-mail says pack everything
then head to Aparri for a 22-day fling.
LJ and Tony separately go out in the woods
to dig up and bring along their idol goods.

Aparri’s tree-mail says they’ll be having guests
They should tidy the camp if anything is messed.
Then a boat starts approaching. This must be the merge!
For the 6, will this be a blessing or a scourge?

Sarah is nervous. At least there’s food and wine.
Jefra sees Alexis gone and with that she’s not fine.
A note with the food says that all are invited
to this feast that they’ve earned and is being provided.

Also, news of an idol with different powers
hidden somewhere near camp. Could make enemies cower.
It’s intriguing to all. Tony thinks he’ll go looking
for days to find out the power it’s cooking.

To come up with a team name they’ll decide over food.
Delaying this feast seems like it would be rude.
The merge buffs are black, and for the name they’ll hold on
to a piece of each old team name: Solarrion.

Tony talks to Sarah, hopes to pull her in
to be back on his side so her old tribe can win.
Sarah won’t swear that she’s on their side yet.
She’s enjoying her power without any regret.

Later she talks amongst the new Aparri.
She wants to vote LJ or Woo. Won’t be sorry.
Others worry an idol’s what LJ possesses.
They think Jefra should go first to avoid vote messes.

What about Trish? Sarah shoots that thought down.
That vote would be dumb. Just the thought makes her frown.
If Woo wins the challenge she thinks Tony must pass.
But all this dictating sure irritates Kass.

The next day Sarah, Tasha and Kass have a talk.
It turns into an argument, so they take a walk.
But before they had left, Trish saw the exchange.
Never wise to argue when others are in range.

Now aside, Tasha tries to help them make amends.
If the hatchet’s not buried this could be their end.
Then Kass thinks that Tasha took the other side.
What’s with the special treatment? Why’s it being supplied?

For immunity, balance on a triangular platform
in the water and be thankful that there is no storm.
Your feet are on narrow footholds on the slopes.
Fall off at any time and you might lose all hope.

Once 15 minutes pass, all advance and move up one
to a narrower foothold. It hurts more. It’s no fun.
After 30 full minutes it’s time to advance
to the top of the platform and less of a chance.

The wind came on strong. Quickly we lose 9.
It’s down to just Tony and Woo in no time.
Tony makes a few saves but it’s tough to stay on.
With one final gust, balance lost, Tony’s gone.

Woo is the first immunity necklace owner.
They can’t vote for him, so who do they prefer?
Sarah can make the choice between the two fives.
Thinks siding with the weaker might keep her alive.

So Sarah and Aparri head down to the water
to decide which Solana person to slaughter.
Sarah thinks she’s the president. She will decide.
But in Survivor there’s no rules to abide.

Some think Jefra’s the best vote; no idol would save her.
Sarah wants someone vital whose danger is greater.
Tony is the group choice. It’s what Sarah wants.
Guarantees he does not have an idol to flaunt.

Tony tries one more time to get in Sarah’s head,
but she sidesteps his questions and ruins her cred.
Trish then talks to Kass about the earlier fight.
Asks if she might join them in voting tonight.

If Kass could have her way, Sarah would be marked.
For Solana it’s not just a shot in the dark.
LJ asks how to save himself. Sarah says Woo.
All you need is for him to give immunity to you.

See, Kass isn’t sure she likes being a pawn.
Sarah may destroy this game. She’ll tear up the lawn.
Kass decides she could launch a preemptive strike.
Destroy the game herself. Hope to not take a hike.

Now Kass feels in control. Usurped Sarah’s throne.
But this path could lead her to be all alone.
At tribal council will we see Chaos Kass?
We’ll know soon, it’s up next. Will she play smart or crass?

LJ could be the first out. The best worst compliment.
It would prove that he’s strong, it’s just not a fun treatment.
Tony speaks of alliance of comfort, not numbers.
Spencer looks at that and thinks what could be dumber.

Kass says be worried if you’re a strong male.
You’re likely a target who’ll have to set sail.
LJ jokes that perhaps there are no idols this season.
But Tony speaks up for a strategic reason.

He shows all the idol when Spencer calls his bluff.
He’ll play it for whoever if this vote seems rough.
Aparri then scrambles. Vote the “other one”.
Let’s get down to the vote, see what damage is done.

Before votes are read, Tony wants to play
his idol specifically saving LJ.
LJ returns the favor and saves Tony too.
Now they both are immune, right along with Woo.

Once the 1st vote is read, that dispatched many smiles.
The name read was Jefra. Misdirection with style.
The votes come up even. 4-4 then 5-5.
The camera shows Jefra is about to cry.

So the 7th one gone and the 1st jury member,
is Sarah!? What happened? Jeff snuffs out her embers.
All quickly determine that Kass was the flipper.
A hero to some, but to others a gypper.

This result was a shock. New entry for a guide
of all of the ways to perform a blindside.
Spencer says Kass has no chance of winning this game.
Kass says “long way to go”, so I’ll reserve my blame.

The preview for next week shows two arguing girls.
It’s Morgan and Kass bickering like squirrels.
Then many start looking for new idol powers.
Woo has ninja stealth mode. I can’t wait for the next hour!
